Reader Q & A: How do you take care of your colored hair?

Q: How do you take care of your colored hair? It seems like you color very frequently but I never saw your hair dry and frizzy (like mine *sob*)!

A: I juggle different products from the L’Oreal Elseve family. My love for this line started with Nutri-Gloss (pink) and Color-Vive (red). Right now, I’m loving the Re-Nutrition line (white). It moisturizes my locks really well without weighing it down.

I start my “routine” with of course, shampoo (Php 175) and conditioner (Php 185):

After towel drying my hair, I smooth on a small amount of the leave-on treatments:

day (Php 345)/night (Php 355)

These daily treatments are great because on top of being weightless, they also minimize static and frizz. My fave product from this line is the Replenishing Mask (Php 375). I leave it on my hair for 1-2 minutes twice a week:

The result: slippery, moisturized, healthy looking hair (insert shampoo commercial theme song here). :)

Q: You have a Charm PRO Travel Brush Set right? Can you put it side by side with the Henri Calayag Makeup Deluxe Brush Set please? I’m trying to decide what set I should buy first.

A: Here you go:

Henri Calayag

If you’re using mineral makeup or you don’t have a duo fibre brush yet, I suggest you get Charm PRO Travel Brush Set first. Here’s another Charm brush set you might want to check out:

The set above  includes a powder brush, a blush brush, a crease blending brush, an eyeshadow brush, an eyeliner brush, a concealer brush, a lip brush, and an angled brow brush. It’s a super sulit buy for only Php850 (pre-buy price from June 2-July 1, 2009) at Beauty and Minerals.

Q: Are you comfortable going out without makeup on?

Yes not because I’m hell flawless but just because I’m lazy like that (Jheng scolds me a lot for this one!). Also, when I wear my chef’s jacket, I’m not supposed to wear makeup for sanitation reasons and beauty common sense (makeup + hot kitchen = breakout madness).

Oh and yes, I cut and colored my hair again. :)
